Play Forum Grants
Please note– we are not running a separate grant scheme for play days
this year, so if you are planning a play day you need to apply to this
fund.
The rules concerning the number of applications per
organisation and per member have been clarified so please make sure
that you read the criteria carefully before applying.
We are
also trying to ensure that as many applications as possible meet the
“three frees” criteria: free of cost, free access and free choice of
activity.
As the theme for the conference this year is inclusion
we are keen to fund projects that are inclusive and promote inclusive
play.
The inclusions grant scheme has now closed. Four grants
were awarded in total supporting the following: a play day for
children at Somerset refuges, Forest school fees for children from
Fiveways, a play day project that will find ways to encourage disabled
children and young people to attend public play days and an
accessibility and play audit by disabled children and their families of
sites featured on the outdoor play website (launching soon).
