NSPCC Training
Courses and resources for anyone working with safeguarding children. The Professional Development Programme 2009 - 2010 is available through the link below. Forthcoming training covers a wide range of topics, including Child Neglect and Creating Safer Organisations.

South West Regional Youth Work Unit
The South West Regional Youth Work Unit (RYWU) offer networking and skills development opportunities through training events and conferences at regional and local level and to build and strengthen effective partnership working.

Voluntary Sector Training Alliance
Voluntary Sector Training Alliance (ViSTA) is an emerging voluntary sector learning consortium. They provide services that support the voluntary and community sector (VCS) to engage more effectively in education, training and personal development programmes.
ViSTA delivers affordable workforce development programmes, a learning advice and guidance service and provides specialist infrastructure support to VCS training providers.

Children's Workforce Learning Network
The Children’s Workforce Learning Network (CWLN) is a partnership between the Open University and the National Council for Voluntary Child Care Organisations (NCVCCO) in the South West of England. They aim to support work based learning and continuing professional development for all employees, volunteers and employers in this sector throughout the South West.
CWLN offer a range of training including Communities of Practice (CoP) for staff with particular areas of interest and Open University “Openings” courses which are particularly useful for staff and volunteers who are returning to study.
